  •     To allow students to take up a leadership role in identifying and implementing green projects/initiatives that can benefit the community
  •     To foster an attitude of self-reliance among the students
  •     To stimulate development and institutionalization of green growth policies in schools and curriculum
  •     To incorporate institutions of learning as part of the green economy champions who can catalyze behavioral change necessary for a green economy
  •     To impart Eco-friendly enterprise skills that prepare young people for the real world; how to generate green incomes and opportunities which enhance their communities’ resilience and improve their economic status
  •     To motivate young people to be responsible citizen of their environment (the challenge will give students the platform they need to take action on environmental issues)
