SME’s & Farmers’ Cooperatives

We continuously work with small scale enterprises who are processors/ exporters for the purpose of linking them with farmers so that they can trade directly and fairly. We also link the SME’s to financial institutions that can lend them working capital when in need.

Eligibility Criteria for SME’s and Cooperatives to be linked to Farmers

  • The SME or Cooperative should have been in operation for at least 3 years.
  • They should have a physical address
  • Should have a ready market for farmers produce
  • Should demonstrate financial stability (bank statements to support)
  • Should be venturing in a value chain supported by MESPT at the time
