The aim of waste management just like water is to reduce the dangerous effects they have on the environment and human health.  The extremes of water resource need to be managed to minimize damage and to maximize efficient beneficial use of the limited supplies especially for agriculture. According to The World Bank, water scarcity affects more than 40% of the global population while water-related disasters account for 70% of all deaths related to natural disasters.
